Yetnikoff
My father called them Yuchnikoff, I don't know why. A big family, all the kids a lot older. They ran a
little confectionary store store that sold all kinds of good things, including "honeymoons".
They cost two for a cent. They had little things inside, you could win a prize. There was always a tin can
of halavah, you could buy a piece for a couple of cents.
They had a lot of daughters, quite a bit older. They worked downtown.
They lived on Cartier.
Pearl Nebach Maritzer writes that the Yetnikoff family may have eventually owned Mary Lee chocolate stores.
