First generation
Shai Leib Teitelbaum and Mirel Geller

Notes
(1) Shai Leib was born in Gorodoc, Proskurov, Ukraine, Feb 10, 1892.
(2) Shai Leib's younger brother Gershon came to Canada several years before Shai Leib. He married Perel.
Shikke was the oldest of the brothers and the most educated. He arrived with Shai Leib, never married.
Fradye was a sister, arrived with Mirel a little after Shai Leib, married Dudye Shenker and moved from
Papineau. Another son, second chronologically, was Shopse. He did not emigrate. None of Shai Leib's
siblings lived in Papineau for any long period of time.



Second generation
Issie married Florence
Harry married Shirley Cohen; Roslyn Brown
Philip married Shirley Goodman
Morty married Edith Tumarkin; Fuzzy Zinman
Judy married Morty Dorfman; Ben Frank

Notes
Issie, Harry and Philip were born in Ukraine (they called it "Russia") as well. Philip was born in 1924
and came to Canada at age 3.

Comments
The first and entire second generation, and no one from the third generation, lived in Papineau.
