  1. Philip Teitelbaum's taped recollections

Philip Teitelbaum's taped recollections (Summer 2007) Note: audio is ON Peter: OK, Gaskin. Philip: I remember the Gaskins had a store on Papineau Avenue. I don't know exactly what that store was. Beside the store they had this large lot, enclosed lot and you could get in there and there was space that they used to rent like....there were wagons and sleighs, and deeper in they had stables for horses. My father used to rent space there and also he would keep his wagon there. I remember they had a daughter whose name was Bertha and a son whose name I believe was Abie. That's what I remember. From Pearl Nebach Maritzer: The Gaskin grocery children were David & Bertha. They lived on Papineau not far from Singerman.
